Ruger SA 'smiths

I'd appreciate any price guesstimates from Ruger 'smiths or anybody else for a project I am hell bent on doing.

I want to have a SBH grip frame modified into an FA grip frame contour.
It would need about an 1/8" slot cut from the very bottom up into the spur slot and then bend the front of the grip forward, then bend the rear forward, then weld them back together and adjusting the spur catch. A lot of trouble I know but projects like this are my idea of fun.

I would try it myself but I generally make a mess and then call an expert so this time I thought it'd be a good idear to do it in reverse order.... if it's not too costly.

I have no idea what it would cost, but I'd see if Dave Clements would do the job. He does some great work. He has a message board on his site where he'll give you a rough quote for the work.
