One of Ruger's faults is that they don't publish their basic stock measurements anywhere that is easy to find.

I'll grant that many rifle shooters don't know what drop and LOP mean, but shotgunners live by these numbers.

Does anyone have a source of these specs for Ruger's various scattergats?

I have been hunting for an old Ruger catalog. Can't seem to find one at the moment, but thought they had full details in the specs.

The last Ruger catalog I had was as useful as the website, which is to say, not at all.:)

I pulled out my Red Label 28ga and did some measuring. 14.25" LOP, and 2.5" drop at heel. Drop at comb looks to be 1.5". That's all I can do for mine, but I would say all are about the same, although I had a Red Label sporting model that had a bit more drop in it than that once upon a time. It shot a 40/60 pattern where my standard model Red label shot a 60/40 pattern. It was dandy for doubles skeet, could almost always take the second bird as it was dropping. Shot my best score of 99 with that sporting gun, but it beat me up awful and I got rid of it.
