I have a Ruger Single Six 22LR/22WMR convertible. But, I'm having a problem with it. After I fire a few cylinders, the empty cases get very difficult to extract. The ejector rod only moves about 1/4" - 1/2" and it seizes up. I think the hole in the frame where the ejector goes through gets dirty. It happens with the LR ad WMR cylinder. I can see how that happens but, I'm surprised it takes so few rounds. Is this a common problem? How can I fix it?
I took the ejector housing and ejector assembly apart and thoroughly cleaned and lubed it. But, I'm still having the same problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Thank you.
