I got this on Father's Day. $299 used.
While shooting it today (.357s were right on target, .38 LRN were low) after 24 rounds, the cylinder did not want to open. I got it open and it seems the ejector rod assembly had been unscrewing on me. That lengthened the cylinder rod up which caused it to hang.
I took the rod and cylinder off and gave everything a good cleaning, but in opening the cylinder, I must have bent the ejector rod. The ejector rod is slightly bent and it binds when you try to eject.
I checked Brownells (as best I could) and did not see an ejector rod, and numrich is out.
Should I call Ruger? Or does somebodu know of another source?
I will loctite the new ejector rod to make sure this doesn't happen again.
