I shot my new Single Six today I loved it.The 22lr is definetly more accurate than the 22mag in my hands.I need to shot the mag more it has been a long time since I have shot a 22 mag.
My question is this does anyone know how accurate the Single Six is in 17HMR?I might like one of those next if they are as accurate as the rifles are.
Thanks for the inputs.

I don’t know first hand, but I understand most all of the .17HMR’s shoot more accurately than their .22lr counterparts, and are certainly more accurate than the .22WMR. “They” say it’s because the bullets are better made … but again, I don’t know for sure.

I think if you go to gunblast.com there is a review on both the convertible .22lr/.22wmr, and the .17HMR Single Six. You’ll have to scroll through the archives. If I recall the .17 was indeed more accurate than the .22.

Congratulations on your new SS :).

Congrats!

I don't know anyone who owns the other caliber one in 17HMR, sorry. Is that ammunition less or more expensive than 22LR if you can find it in 'bulk'?

It is a lot more expensive to shoot.I would like one if it is a accurate as the rifles are say out to 50 yards max. This is about the limit for a small revolver in my hands.I like to shoot silhoute at the range and I thought it might be fun to have a really accurate rimfire. The 22 is very accurate just thought about the 17hmr?
Thanks
