RUGER SR-9 Question

Is the SR-9 recall over and does the SR-9 look any different? I thought there was a different trigger, like the glock/XD-9 type. Could some one clarify...

Ruger is still retrofiting SR9's with the new trigger (I'm waiting for them to send mine back). As far as how the gun looks, the only diffrance is the glock style trigger.

Yes, the trigger does look different. It's now a "2-piece" trigger instead of a single trigger. Ruger will send you a write up on all the differences with your gun when it's retrofitted. It has always been a 2-piece, but it was internal to the original trigger, now it's external.

They are also correcting some problems with the magazine catches, which have been redesigned. I got mine back yesterday, with a new magazine and an SR-9 hat.

I'm just glad to finally have this over with. The SR-9 is probably my favorite gun to shoot, and my shooting looks better when I use it. It's accurate right out of the box.
