Yes, the trigger does look different. It's now a "2-piece" trigger instead of a single trigger. Ruger will send you a write up on all the differences with your gun when it's retrofitted. It has always been a 2-piece, but it was internal to the original trigger, now it's external.
They are also correcting some problems with the magazine catches, which have been redesigned. I got mine back yesterday, with a new magazine and an SR-9 hat.
I'm just glad to finally have this over with. The SR-9 is probably my favorite gun to shoot, and my shooting looks better when I use it. It's accurate right out of the box.
