Ruger SR40C vs. S&W M&P 40C

I like my 9c but I really like being able to feel the loaded chamber indicator.

That being said my next poly pistol will probably be a M&P 40 as a friend to my 9c

Rumor has it the SR45 is about a year and a half out. I'm a compact pistol type person, so hoping they do a SR45c.

I'm still waiting on my LGS to get me a SR1911 in. I really had no interest in the 1911 until Ruger came out with one, I really like the looks of the Ruger and have since looked at several models, including Smith and Wesson. But I won't buy one until I first have the Ruger.

Probably end up getting a M&P45c to satisfy my want for a 45acp before I ever see my SR1911.

good luck on the 1911...ive had the chance at 1 so far and the dealer was asking 800...i will wait the other dealer i buy from sells them for 6 plus i will have to pay a 20 dollar transfer fee to get it across state lines..might be a year but i can wait for 200 bucks

Give me the Smith, anyday, over the Ruger. Don't want a mag disconnect and don't want a thumb safety(unless it's on a High-Power or 1911). And the S&W just looks better, imo.
