Ruger Super Redhawk 44mag

I need advice on a scope for a Ruger Super Redhawk 44mag with 9.5 in barrel. I presently have a Burris 2x scope on it now and works just fine at distances out to 50 yards. Past that the 2x power scope and my weak eyes make my shooting less then acceptable to me. This gun is mainly a range gun with maybe 2 to 3 hog hunts a year where 50 yards is Perfect. I live in South East Texas so will not need to shoot past 50 yards. I will be hand loading in the near future. A friend at work is getting me hooked on hand loads. So with that said the scope will need to take heavy recoil.

burris makes a good scope, luepold, nikon, simmons, bsa
all make good scopes, I use a bsa 3.5x30 on my super redhawk 9 1/2" and I shoot some heavy loads and scope has preformed well.

FYI: please keep in mind, the more you magnify, the more you're going to magnify your movements on your target. It's a big gun and hard to hold very still.
I never mounted more than a 2x on mine, so I can't recommend a bigger scope for you to use.
