Ruger vaquero grips

I have a new model Vaquero stainless 5.5 barrel in .45lc. Love the gun but I want some better grips for it, and possibly a gun belt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can look at the Ruger website, they sell replacement grips there. Many also sell aftermarket grips here and on the Ruger forum.

I've got some grips on my blackhawk from http://www.privatescustomgrips.com/index.html he also makes them for the Vaquero

The grips on my Vaquero came from the Ruger website. I really didn't like the black plastic ones that came on it.

I have one with Micarta stocks in antique paper. Love the look against the case hardened finish. I use a Safari Land holster and a stiff belt.

I liked the fit of Eagle's 'gunfighter' series.. they are skinnier in profile for a better fit in my hand.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Does anyone know if the Blackhawk and vaquero grips are interchangeable because I really like the grey laminate ones ruger has but it says they are for the Blackhawk

Blackhawk and New Vaquero are not interchangeable

Edit to add: just ot make it a little more confusing some of the anniversary blackhawks have the same grip as the new Vaquero
