Running and Gunning with M1 Garand WOOOOT!

On the long steel they had two "flashers", which have a round steel target below a pivoting white/orange plate above. When you hit the round steel, it pivots the upper section so you can see the orange "flash". The stage required on hit on each flasher from 3 different positions.

The plate rack obviously required the plates being knocked down.

Total round count for me was about 160 .30-06 and 200ish .45 ACP. I don't remember the stage round counts. I usually take that number and double it. :D
 
Very cool. I can't think of a much better way to spend a day. How long are are the longer distance rifle shots?
 
Having caught only this last part of the conversation since I posted...a Garand rechambered in FN 5.7? Heathen!!
