On the long steel they had two "flashers", which have a round steel target below a pivoting white/orange plate above. When you hit the round steel, it pivots the upper section so you can see the orange "flash". The stage required on hit on each flasher from 3 different positions.
The plate rack obviously required the plates being knocked down.
Total round count for me was about 160 .30-06 and 200ish .45 ACP. I don't remember the stage round counts. I usually take that number and double it.
