Rust on my Mag

I was at the range yesterday and had some trouble ejecting one of my mags. The other two ejected just fine so I inspected the one giving me problems and I saw that there was rust along one side of the mag that was keeping the mag from ejecting smoothly. I was wondering what I could do about this. Should I take some Hoppes #9 and a toothbrush to it or is there a better way to handle it?

Some extremely fine steel wool should easily remove the rust.

I recommend a good cleaning and treatment with this: http://http://eezox.com/. Eezox is a very good rust preventative/ lube.
