I have been searching high and low for some 22 or 6mm CB Caps for my German Flobert Parlor Pistol.
Did find one tin a few years back from Selway but they no longer carry it. Midway has shown the RWS caps as discontinued.
Can find plenty available on Euro web sites but not in the US. No one will import or it would cost a fortune.
I've tried 22 Shorts but too powerful.
I really enjoy the pistol and would even buy another one at auction if I could secure an ammo supplier.

Anyone that knows of a source or alternative would be appreciated.

I have found CCI CB caps at Cabelas on several occasions. With the ammo shortage, I don't know if they still carry them, but you could find out.

Thanks, I did check with Cabela's and Bass but nothing.
BTW, should "your" be "you're"?
"When your dumb, you gotta be tough"
Like it anyway.

Have you tried Aguilla Colibre instead?

Same power level as the RWS 6mm CB or less, the difference is a longer case (but not as long as 22LR).

RWS also makes a 6mm BB Cap that works (uses a round ball instead of a conical projectile).

Otherwise the CCI CB Short would be your best bet

Not sure if these will work or not.
Velocity is listed as 710 fps, but I think the case is longer than the CB Caps.

If you can get 'em to fit your chamber, the Aguila .22 Colibris mentioned by Bwana John would probably be your best bet as far as actually shooting to point of aim.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure they're gonna be too long since they use the .22 Long/Long Rifle case length. That's probably one of the biggest reasons that Colibris are so popular, they're long enough that they don't foul the front part of .22 LR chambers like previous short cased, low noise rounds could.

My LGS says they have the CB Shorts so I think I'll get a box of those and see what happens. Would be great if they work.
I tried some HV Shorts but way too powerful for this parlor gun.

My understanding is that the CB shorts only have the primer mix and no powder in the case. I could be wrong, and usually am.
