S&W 12ga

I have a friend who has a S&W Model 1000M 3 inch Full Choke 12Ga Shotgun..he bought it new...Now since S&W is out of the shotgun business he was wondering what this gun could be worth...it is in super condition...Can any of you help him out with a price check

It's not a rare gun, and after S&W dropped it, Mossberg picked it up and sold it for a couple of years, also as the Model 1000.

Prices run from "about" $275 for one in 90% to about $345 in 98%.
