Does it have an internal safety? I noticed the pic of the right side of the pistol on their website. There appears to be a hole right above the trigger.
 
They have a firing pin safety, consisting of a slide-mounted plunger that is depressed by a frame-mounted lever connected to the grip safety. When the grip safety is depressed, the lever rises and pushes the plunger in.
 
So that is not a "key" hole right above the trigger guard on the frame. It is on the right side and looks like the thing that they put on their new revolvers.

Thanks for that pic. The other pics (on S&W's website) are not as clear. I really liked the look of the Taurus 1911, but they put that stupid lock on them,:barf::banghead:
