Recently acquired an extremely nice nickel 21-4 w/ 4" bbl. Caliber is .44 special.
Could someone with more knowledge about this beautiful revolver give me a ballpark figure on it's current value? It is flawess and was test fired in Sept of 2005. Has the original wood grips as well as a Factory rubber mono grip.
Also has the horrid lock hole. I may be mistaken, but, I think I got it for a very reasonable $625. Any input appreciatd.
Thanks

Depending on condition, used they run from about $550, all the way up to about $800. They were marketed as "Classics". I paid $600 for mine, NIB, about 5 years ago. I still shoot it, since it's so much fun, and the recoil is so mild.

I like the round butt, since I can use several different grip styles. I currently use a set of Ahrends RB finger groove combats. I reload for .44 Special, so they're fairly inexpensive.

At $625 you paid a very reasonable price for it.
