S&W 22A and the High Standard Victor

I'm sending my 22A out for a broke frame in the morning. Search will give you others so must be issues.

They aren't similar at all. The S&W is a plastic plinker. The High Standard is an all-metal, precision tool. So it depends on what kind of shooting you want to do. Personally, I shoot almost exclusively bullseye competition. A gun that won't group 2" at 50 yards just isn't competitive.

The S&W 22a is all metal, I have one. Now will it group 2" at 50 yards I doubt it but it is a fun plinker.

I bought one for the kids a couple of years ago and got tiered of not being able to use it because one of them was always using it. So this last weekend I found another one for ME! These shoot great! I love the medium size of the grip and the rubber texture.
The guy I bought it from said that it did not like cheap bulk ammo and it had less than 500 rounds shot through it. As soon as I brought it home I took the dremel to it and polished up the feed ramp. I couldn't be happier!

I found a used 22a with a red dot on it for $200. Several thousand rounds later it's been great. Not sure about the HS Victor, sure it's pretty decent.
