Any S&W 242 fans out there? I have one that I am consider qualifying with for work. Anybody carry one on a regular basis? What means of carry? Suggestions for a good holster? With it's humpback it's hard to find holsters.
 
I think you posted this in the wrong place. This is the place to sell your handgun not to ask general questions about them. You may want to re-post this in the revolver section if you are looking to talk about guns and not sell them.

Nonetheless, I don't own a 242 myself, having just acquired my one and only revolver (a 642), so I can't be of any help. Sorry, prescobd.
 
242 is a L frame 7 shot .38 special DAO Ti/aluminum revolver, it has humpback similar to bodyguard but is DAO like the centinuals. No pics.
 
Here's a pic of mine. The 242 may be butt ugly but my example is blessed with the best "out-of-the-box" DA trigger I've seen on a S&W in 40+ years.

I got to shoot one a little last week and was pleasantly surprised.
It is light enough to carry and if you like revolvers and think 7 rounds of .38+P are enough, it is a good choice. I'd rather have it than one of those flyweight .357s.
