S&W 31 no dash 3 inch

Recently acquired above revolver used at gunshow. Anyone know if this will fit nicely in J- frame holsters? Appreciate any help. Thanks..

It should, if you have a 3" J-Frame holster.

Thanks for the positive comments folks.. Been looking for a while for either a model 30 or 31 and just got lucky. Gun appears pretty well cared for a tiny bit of holster wear at muzzle end, otherwise pretty clean. Shot it this week with some lite handloads and she's a keeper.

Just a small point.

But if it is a 31 no dash?

It is not a J-Frame.

It is a Modified I-Frame.

But it's the same size as the later J-Frame.

Congratulations on your find. I've been keeping my eyes open for one of those for a while now. All I seem to see are 2" models, and I'm holding out for 3". I guess there's always tomorrow.

3 inch barrel , great case hardening colors , AND a flat latch. Very nice indeed.

After you get your your ready made holster, consider going with a custom and treating your nice revolver to an equally nice holster.

For my "I" frame 32 long, I have a Bianchi 5BH and a custom "Brill" replica.
