Hello everyone,
Who has first hand experience with the 380ACP Bodyguard, how reliable was it for you?

A brief intro. I have owned several 380 semiautos.
The more reliable ones for me were the Kel Tec P3AT and the Ruger LCP. They were also the least pleasant to practice with. The combination of sharp recoil and the rudimentary sights.
The Diamondback D380 and the Taurus T738 were better shooters because of the better grips for my hand and the better sights. Both misfired too often. The DB also had a broken spring early on, and the Taurus refused to like any hollow points after long hours of polishing and breaking in.

I am looking at the Bodyguard. Seems fine, except the reliability is unknown. Please note, it is about this one model and none other.

Bought a used, first production run model for the wife and had lots of problems. The gunshop sent it back and S&W traded it out for a brand new one which had none of the problems and also had an updated, easier to use laser button. Goes boom, well, it goes bang, every time and is a LOT more accurate than I ever thought it would be..with or without using the laser. I've tried to talk the wife into using my "much safer and more reliable" Keltec P-11 and letting me suffer with the BG... She sees through this and watches me like a hawk every time I get near her BG!

KelTec or LCP recoil not all that bad. Put a BB front sight on KT or LCP and be happy. If you ever need you will not notice the recoil I shoot Corbon almost exclusive in my kelTec and have since bought it 5 years ago. Recoil is nothing. Now My PF-9 with Plus P was a might harsh .

Just curious, what is a BB sight?
