I like the .460 because you can shoot 3 different types of ammo. I have a question about loading .45 long colts for the .460. Does anybody know if you can shoot the (Hot, Ruger, Contender only -not old Colts) loads listed in reloading manuals in the S&W .460 XVR 8 3/8" barrel ok without doing any damage to the gun?? I see alot of HOT .45 Colts loads but they always just say (((Ruger, Contender only))) loads..I would think that they must have not listed the .460 yet in some of the loading data I have looked at. I just got a S&W .460 and haven't shot much through it yet except .45 Colt Cowboy loads & 200g factory .460's. Thanks for any info...
