S&W 500 magnum longevity

I haven't heard much of anything about this concern. . .The S&W X-frame 500 magnum has been out for several years now, I would be curious to learn how they are holding up under long-term use with heavy loads. I know the older model 29 N-frames had a reputation for loosening up pretty quick with full house 44 mag loads.
 
They ought to last for a long time. Nobody wants to shoot one enough to wear it out. I have the 454 I use for handgun hunting. It's kinda like my high powered rifles. I shoot it enough to sight in the scope and a little practice, but never for fun at the range.
 
at the pressures that the X frames work at id be worried about flame cutting & throat erosion, but then again the owners i know rarely shot more than 5 rnds at a time
