All right, I just got my 610 in. That SOB is huge. I can't find a Holster for it. I prefer a Fobus. WHERE THE HELL CAN I FIND A HOLSTER FOR AN N FRAME. :cuss: I BLAME ALL OF THE LEFT WING LIBERALS FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your 610 should be an L-frame, and a holster that fits a 686 with a full lug should fit it just fine.

I wish the 610 WAS an L-frame! I have wanted an L-frame 10mm for years, but Smith says it is too hot for the smaller platform. So, we have the 610...on an N-frame. :banghead:

Well, I guess that is what I get when I ASSuME that most the 6XX guns were all L-frames........ The only one I knew was an N was the 627.

Now I can quit bidding on them on the auction sites too, it was stuck in my head that it was an L and I wanted one. Now I don't.

Now for my next question, IS there a 40 S&W L-frame? I wouldn't mind that it won't shoot 10mm, I just want to play shooting games with it.

Well there is also the 624, 625, and 629 N-frames.
I use Don Humes for my N-frames, but quite a few makers build N-frame holsters.

Also make sure they do not form the holster around the cylinder flutes and you will be golden.
Don't forget the first edition of the 610s had a fluted cylinder. So knowing which 610 you have can play a role in holster selection.

Blade Tech and Side Armor both make fine holsters for the N-frame S&W 625 and 610. In fact I use the same holster for both my 4" 625 and my 3-7/8" 610.
