S&W 617 disassembly

Howdy,
I am hoping for a helping hand here.
Does anyone know where I can find re-assembly instructions for my Smith & Wesson 617? I am overlooking a minor detail somewhere and can't get it back together in working condition. Sideplate goes on but trigger won't move. Any schematic or video or tip appreciated! Thanks in advance.

The centerfire and rimfire Smiths are similar enough in operation that it should help you out.

Two possibilities come to my mind; the hammer block safety is binding. Take the sideplate off again and see if you can pull the trigger while holding the hammer in the frame with side pressure. Make sure, that you install it in the groove.
Next, the bolt/thumb piece is not going back, blocking the hammer. Pull it back and see if the trigger can move.

Good point, since the OP has had it disassembled, perhaps they are testing operation before putting the cylinder and yoke back in place.
