I spied a used 642-1, $357, tax included. Excellent shape, no finish wear, original grips, tight, and no trigger lock.
Well, I noticed the cylinder seems to be rebated at the back. The cartridges do sit on the edge of the rim of the cylinder, but the rest of the rim is free. So, does this allow moon clips like on the 642-1 Professional model?
I also understand it was only made for a few years, right? SN CSV4***.
