I have a Model 65-3 with a 4" barrel. I bought it about 18 months ago. It shoots good and is as accurate as I am.
But the gun has seen its better days. The frame has a nice rut from flame cutting. The barrels' forcing cone is partially ate away. The bore shows wear. I suppose it has seen a lot of hot loads.
Would it be reasonable to check into replacing the barrel?
Everything else about the gun, trigger, cylinder lockup, and timing are still very good.
Thanks!
Sorry, I now realize this should have been posted in Gun Smith section.
