I really like my S&W 915 - runs like if not a Swiss watch maybe a Swiss bulldozer, if the Swiss in fact made earth moving equipment.

Have the chance to buy a S&W 669 for 350 - looks to be carried a lot shot a little.

Should I do the deal?

Although the Third Generation model, the 6906, feels a little better in my hand, that is a decent deal. I'm unsure what you mean by "carried a lot." This would imply a great deal of holster wear.

Good deal on a very nice compact 9mm.

The 669 was the stainless "mini-gun" that S&W made after examining modified, chopped model 39's from DEVEL and Paris Theodore.

Ultra reliable and very accurate. Good luck! :)

A S&W Model 669 in decent shape for $350 sounds like an okay deal. Does this include any extras (box, spare mags, etc.), or is it just for the gun? You might want to try going in with a lower offer just to see if they'll take it. Never hurts to ask.

grumble no deal

turns out it's a 'brother in laws' gun and said 'brother in law' doesn't have a foid card to swap nor does the guy I sorta know who set up the deal -

I got a wierd vibe from the deal so I walked

Bet I coulda dealed down - grips looked crappy - lots of holster wear but does that really matter on stainless

Barrel and guts were clean as new.

Had some armored car service name and a number electropenciled into the slide
