2'' or better 25yrd groups out of a Smith 357 is common at least fom a rest. But what can a comp grade semi like the Elite do at 25yrds. I've found them in 9mm,40 and 45 and don't know which caliber would be the most accurate. I was told they were not carry guns just competion.

I will say after owning a witness elit for match and play that they are heavy at close to 40oz not the 32 oz that is on some sites. Accurate ,yes atleast as good with a 9mm as most revolvers at your 25 yards. The 40sw tends to not shot as well as most pistol calibers but is still quite good. But what caliber you want and with the witness line you can switch to 22lr.9mm, 38super/9-23mm, 40sw, 45 acp, and 10mm with just an upper change with any caliber as your base gun. Great SA shooter that can be bought for 500 dollars if you have a good dealer around. Look to henningshootsgun.com for asses. and some help.he is a factory shooter and brain enoss eaa forum for info. There is also a new WITNESS/TANFOGLeO FORUM OUT. These are not comp grade but shoot better than most pistol costing way more and do make a great match gun. Witness does have there comp line of guns too. Some people complane of feeding problems but mine was 100% with both calibers i have and it seems all as mag related and is tuneable or a spring change fix's it.
