I have a PD trade-in S&W 6906. It shoots great, and I'm pretty accurate with it. However, I'd like to break it down and clean out what I know has to be a bunch of gunk deep in its mechanical recesses.
Does anyone know where I can get instructions on doing a detail strip of this gun? The owner's manual at the S&W website (for ALL S&W semi-autos... in one book?) only recommends a field strip, which is brain-dead simple and I've done it a bunch of times, but I want to go deeper.
I also have a Makarov, and similar info is widely available for detail stripping that gun down to the smallest part (well, there are only 27 of em). I'm hoping to find the same for the 6906.
