I just did a detail strip on a 29-2 and found alot of things i wish I hadn't...

It looks like who ever had this before me took the sideplate off and cylinder apart to clean it up, and just discarded all the shims and bearings. The hammer is rubbing on the frame and sideplate, wearing through the case hardening. There aren't any yoke or cylinder bearings installed, and endshake tells me I could use a few. Looks like the extractor rod has a bend in it, with the stop removed i could turn the cylinder and easily feel the bind. Upon closer observation I could see a wear ring on the outside of the extractor rod, no doubt it's rubbing the inside of the yoke. The cylinder has always been hard to open, looks like the centerpin is the culprit there...

I would like to fix the easy stuff, to keep the revolver running and preventing any more serious damage. Problem is I don't want to have to buy 10 of each of the bearings i need, when I only need 1-2 of each. Anyone here wanna help a brother out and sell me a few of what I need??
2 hammer shims
2 yoke bearings
2-4 .002 cylinder bearings

Just for what it's worth -- the Model 29 did not come from the factory with any shims in it. It may now benefit from some, but it was not originally equipped with any. If you are installing shims to correct endshake, you probably need to ream to face off the end of the yoke.
