Are all Smith K frame hands the same? I need one for a 13-1.

No, but one type could be used over many years and models. To make sure, when buying a part, specify the model and dash number.

    No, and yes.
Obviously needs to be same frame type at minimum.
A good used hand from another K frame could be fitted.
I like to have a few duplicate extra parts and fit the one that works the best. Sometimes you get lucky and no fitting is needed.
