S&W M&P Carry & Range Kit

I can't understand why S&W has advertised the heck out of these, and not have them in stock. They have adds in the handgun magazines as well as the front page of their website. I've had one on backorder for 3 weeks now.
I guess my thinking is that they should have them available before they try sell them.
I just hope I don't have to wait much longer.

How did you go about putting one on backorder? I talked to my FFL and even he can't get any hold on reserving a set.

Would totally appreciate the input since I've had my eyes on this kit since the SHOT show.

gotblu...I should of been more clear with my post. I have a down payment on the M&P carry and range kit at my local gun shop. Smith and Wesson only shipped a limited quantity of them at first. The next shipment will be in March. As soon as they are available from S&W my local gun shop will give me a call.
