ok so heres the deal Im looking for a new gun, i hav an xd 45 4.25 barrel when they first came out. so im looking for a 9 mm and w a 5 inch barrel, i like the looks and feel of it. I like the idea of 40cal S&W M&P that can also use a 9mm barrel, just trust me on this one, so i get 2 for the price of one.
any sugestions for others guns out there in the same price range. 9mm w a
5" barrel?
 
The S&W M&P40 with a 9mm conversion barrel would be a wining combination for minimal expenditure.
 
If you still find a M&P 9L instead of the 9 Pro you can save a bit of money.

The difference is the 9 Pro has a slightly better trigger and black rear/FO-front instead of the 3-dot sights on the 9L, but for the price difference you can get an APEX Tactical action kit (improves the trigger) and a set of Warren sights which will be better than what you'd get on the Pro.
