S&W M&P Sport II - rear sights shifts if I wiggle front hand guard

Hello,

The rear sight moves around (a bit) on my new unfired S&W M&P Sport II if I wiggle the front hand guard. I realize it's all connected together, but wouldn't that throw aim? Is this a problem or normal?

If the rear sight and front sight move in conjunction with each other, that is fine. What you are actually doing is moving the whole upper receiver of the rifle which is expected within reasonable amounts on an AR type rifle.

If the front and rear sight wiggle independently of each other, then you have a problem.
