S&W M&P22 Compact 3.6" BLK 10RD placed on layaway this day. Comes with two (10-RD) magazines. I have quantities of .22 Rimfire so ammunition is not a problem. The barrel is also threaded for a suppressor which is an item most likely not to be acquired.

I have one, enjoy it, but accuracy is not what I wish it was. Early specimens had some barrels with chatter and machining marks issues, but I am sure more recent models are better. I am sure you will enjoy it.

We have had one for a few years now. Nice shooter though a little small for my hands but perfect for the wife and very close in size to her 9MM EZ Shield. It eats everything we have ever tried in it. Not as accurate as our Buckmark for sure but it is fun to shoot a combat style 22 LR too and seems to be as accurate as typical 9MM combat pistol. I like that it is US made by Smith and Wesson rather than a Umarex design.

Two of them in family. One in my safe, the other in Daughter in laws. Both have been incredibly reliable, eating anything and everything we have been able to stuff into their magazines.
Accuracy is comparable to my other 9mm pistols. They are an enjoyable plinking and practice pistol well worth their price.

The barrel is also threaded for a suppressor which is an item most likely not to be acquired.
FYI, that 1/2" x28 thread is actually an adaptor that threads onto the MP 22 Compact's threaded muzzle. If you have no intent to run a suppressor, you can swap that threaded adaptor to one without threads.

Here's a link to the threaded adaptor, to be clear what I'm talking about:

With the threaded adaptor, you have to remove it in order to remove the slide for cleaning. I broke 2 tools getting mine off and had to send it into S&W to have them do it.
