I've been shooting a model 13-2 since it was my dads and I was 12.... it was then handed down to me and stolen when I had to abandon my home during Katrina (Miami, FL.).

I am now looking for another revolver.... i really liked the model 13-2 w/ 4" barrel.... also thinking about the m65 since its the same thing but in stainless....

Whats your opinion? Is there another model similar to the 13-2 That I should be looking at?

Thanks everyone!

If you want to get an .38 special(Instead of a .357 magnum?)you can get either a blue heavy barrel Model 10(in either a 3" or an 4" barrel)which otherwise looks identical to the Model 13-2. If you want the same thing in stainless-then look for an Model 64, with either a heavy(3" or an 4")heavy barrel! The M64(With the heavy barrels) looks the same as any M13 or an M65!

Sorry about your loss.

If possible I'd go for the Model 13. There is something about a well built, BLUE steel revolver.

Yea.... but I really like having the ability to shoot .357Mag, .38+P, and .38SPL

Therefore the .357 mag is the only way for me to go.... I like .357 as a nightstand gun and the .38 as a tourney gun for IDPA.... and the +P for metal target plinking....

I really don't care how the gun looks.... I just want the same feel/balance... I looked into some more modern K frame .357 with heavier barrels and extractor rods.... but they don't feel right in my hand.... that 13-2 felt perfect.... even as a child!

P.S.
Anyone know if anyone is selling one?

You answered your own question. If a model 13 feels "perfect" to you, you should absolutely have one. Added bonus; not only does it feel perfect but also happens to be an excellent all around gun.
The three inch 65's and 13's are "desirable" so they get pricey but they're not necessarily rare, so you'll be able to find a good one with some patience and effort. The 4"er's are slightly less popular and are even easier to find and usually not as expensive. Keep checking your local gun shops and do searches on gunbroker, auctionarms and gunsamerica.
I really love the fixed site "K"s. The adjustables on the 19/66 are only an advantage if you are going to really "dial-in" a specific load. My 3" Model 65 is my favorite, I even prefer it to my 2-1/2" Model19.

Good luck
