Found this during one of my pawn shop rounds.

I was at one of the pawn shops that I frequent recently and the owner says I just got something from an estate that you might be interested in.

Out from the back comes a S&W blue box. Inside contains a model 19-6 that has only been fired at the S&W as there were only powder marks on the cylinder in three opposing holes. It has box, tools in sealed bag and original papers with warranty card.

The pawn shop owner said it was from an estate and the owner just bought the guns and squirreled them away in the dresser. The son who brought the guns in had no interest in them and wanted to sell them :what:

They also showed me an old Colt New Frontier with original box and S&W M41 in presentation box, both with everything original and unfired. Those stayed there as I haven’t managed to acquire “that” affliction yet.

Details:
DOB ~ 1988
Gun box papers tools
Blued
Model 19-6
6 inch bbl

It looks like this:

Nice find! Don't see many Model 19's with the 6" barrel. Would have had a tough time choosing between that and the Colt New Frontier and S&W Model 41.

It was certainly tough, but the weakness for pre-lock S&W won out.

19-3Ben Ooohhhh that's nice.
Are you gonna shoot it?

Well for now it will be a safe queen.
I have the same thing in nickel that is a shooter.

Wow! That is the very gun I've wanted for years. They are just about the perfect revolver. I had a friend that had one, wanted to sell it to ME! Every time I had the cash...car repair...medical expense...tires...Christmas! Wifey needs shoes....
So, I never got it...then he died.

You walked in on the find of a lifetime! Congratulations. Go shoot it. :D

4D5, congrats on locating one of the finest production revolvers ever produced. Now get that guy to the range and put some ammo through it.

P.s Everyone should have at least one M-19.
