I'd like to get some input regarding timing adjustments and repairs to supplement the model 10 sticky.

First thing is with the hand..
I'm not sure if the situation I've encountered is due to the frame having been replaced with the original parts reused or what the deal is. Maybe you all can help shed some light on this.

Picture 1 shows the current view of the hand (gray) from the rear as it rides in the frame window (black) with the trigger held back. Any and all of 6 ratchets (blue) protrudes noticeably from the top left of the window. Picture 2 is what I'm thinking would be the superior fitament.:

Is pic 1 the way they come from the factory normally (bean counters at work, maybe) or is this because the frame was replaced but the extractor, hand, and cyl. stop were not replaced or refit properly?

I am slightly confused, though your illustration was top notch and to be applauded. Do you intend the black line to be the frame window border inside the window, or in the frame element?

If the star ratchet is protruding at all through the hand aperture in the frame, that is wrong. Crazy wrong. But I am thinking I am misunderstaing your diagram.

Was the Barrel replaced? And the Cylinder gapped or set or fitted to the new Barrel 'dash' forcing cone end, with both possily having been a few thousandths too far 'back'?

How's the gap between Cylinder and frame, at the rear?

( Just trying to think...not easy sometimes...)

Hi Oro, thanks for the compliment :) The black is the frame itself (I see what you mean, I should have defined that better, the rectangle shape doesn't convey well) the white is open air. The view is from the rear or grip end. The hand, gray.

Aye, if the ratchets were coming into the window that'd be bad :D

Hi Oyeboten. The frame was replaced, but everything else was retained. They squared the forcing cone as requested (it was rolled a bit on the left and not square to the cylinder). The endshake and headspace are good.
