ive recently purchased a model 15-2.
im not sure what year my new weapon was made...

is it possible to find out more information about my new weapon by using the serial number...

for ex: date made... price of gun... history... special edition... etc.

i would appreciate the help... thanx... :)

There is a way to find out but I do not have the book needed with me. I am pretty sure your gun was made sometime in the 1960s but not later than 1967. I have a 15-3 and it is a great gun.

I Am Still At Work As Soon As I Get Home I Will Get The Sn: I Have Found It Is Nickle Plated With Gold Trigger Hammer And Chamber Release I Think It Has A 4" Barrel With Adjustable Rear Sight. I Have Heard That It Is A Limited Edition Form Maybe The Late 50's Im Not Sure Bud?

here are the first few of the serial number for my new piece
K6044 hope this helps you to further the research on my gun

The 15-2 was made 1961-67 and yours appears to be from 1964 (fairly late in the year, it may have shipped in 1965). I don't believe the entire run of the 15-2s was anything special although individual guns may be uncommon depending on who bought them, etc. These will usually sell for $150-$350 depending on condition, accessories, history, and such. When new it sold for about $65.
