20160412_164944.jpg Just picked up this smith and the 1st shots did this. You know its going to be a good day! Shots fired off hand at 10 yards. Not really even trying hard.

That's some decent shooting for a new used gun! Might want to stock up on whatever ammo it was that you were using because that gun sure does great with it!

Its my own handload using 125 grain xtp and power pistol. Its +p but has shot well in every 38 I've got.

I get the feeling I've just begun to see the accuracy of this smith.

You will love that model 15, if you don't already. I took my 13 year old son to the range a few months ago and let him shoot my worn old model 15 from 1960. First time shooting a center fire handgun, and he was out shooting the adult fellow the next lane over. As proud as I am of my son, it wasn't him, it was the gun. And I also have an old pre-model 15 that shoots even better. HAVE FUN!

I'd be hard pressed to pass on a nice M15. I really like adjustable S&W sights and K frames in general. Magna stocks and a Tyler T grip (or similar adaptor) and it's good to go!

I have the stainless model 67. I think they are basically an evolutionary end to the .38 special.

Sean, I agree with that entirely.

If you want a service sized 38, there's no better option that I can think of.

I do prefer my M19's, but rarely ever put any standard pressure 357 loads in it. almost entirely 38's any more through them. If all I had was a M15, I could be happy and well armed.
