The little factory grips were about the same size as my thumb, these Hogues are as close to a perfect fit to my hand as I've ever found.

The M18 is probably one of the finest and most useful guns S&W ever made. Mine has grips identical to my Security Six and has been the understudy to it for about twenty years now. Have trained quite a few shooters on it.

Gave my son a nice M15 years back and later found a M18 for him; now he has a matched pair. Like a Rolls Royce, they are "sufficient".

I cannot envision life without one.
