I just bought a new J Frame it says on the crane 60-12. It Doesn't have the key safety and I can't find any references to "60 dash 12" on the net.

Does anyone know more about this Revo?

I'm working on my Florida CCW and trying to decide wether to carry the Model 60-12 or 340PD.

I haven't shot the 60-12. The 340PD is a bit brutal with 38 SPL +P's. Not sure I want to try any .357 Mag???

Thanks in advance!

Rick

Supica & Nahas' "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson" list the 60-11 and 60-12 as "change unknown." Apparently S&W made some kind of internal change, but what - only they know. You could call their customer service department and ask.

When you put a hot load in a little gun the result is usually brutal recoil. Try using a lighter load and see if better marksmanship doesn't make up the difference.
