S&W Model ???

Looking for info on a S&W revolver that I bought about 30 yrs. ago.
Here is what I know: Serial#K 284 239 (under barrel and on cylinder)
22 long rifle ctg stamped on barrel
K 66 134 7 stamped inside cylinder
wooden grips (squared off)
22 cal.
6 inch barrel
Model #, approx. age, and value ????
any help is appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like a K-22 Target Masterpiece, which later became the Model 17. According to your serial, it was made in 1956, and it should be a five screw gun with diamond magnas. Value will depend on condition. In excellent condition, these guns are selling for between $400 and $500.

Seems like 1956 ''pre model 17''. K22 Masterpiece.

They can fetch good money if in good shape - very nice guns to have. Should be 5 screw.
