Just got one myself. Only had one limited trip to the range (25 rounds or so) but I think they got it just about right in terms of weight and balance. Accuracy was good and recoil was milder than I expected even with hot loads. Trigger is good (not great), but I'm sure it will improve with more use.

Back at Don. It's just a matte blue finish. As long as you don't bring a wire brush to it for cleaning, you're ok. I use a plastic toothbrush on all my guns.

went to visit my 520 today at the shop to put another payment down (getting closer to calling her mine)..I felt like i was visiting a family member..lol..anywho, they let me hold her again and yup, im still in love !:)

Don't use too stiff a brush as to remove any of the finish. KEEP "LEAD AWAY", AWAY FROM THE BLUE. It will remove the finish if you use it on anything but Stainless Steel. Make sure after EVERY TIME you clean the gun to wipe it down with a good gun oil and then wipe the excess off. You will want to keep a very thin coating of oil on the finish to prevent rust.

I'm sure some of the more experienced users here will have more tips for you.

Very nice revolver, enjoy...

I've got one and love shooting it. It is billed as a replacement for the m19, which I feel is irreplaceable. It is just as good if the sentimentality doesn't get in the way. A gunfighters hand gun.
