S&W PC M500 Magnum Hunter 6 1/2"

Anyone have any experience with this S&W revolver. It appears to be a special configuration for Lew Horton, a Performance Center Magnum Hunter with 6 1/2" barrel and comp.

Bought one and love it. Easy handle, muzzle flip greatly reduced. I can shoot it one handed (400gr) and I'm not a big guy.

Can you provide any particulars on the specs? Weight, etc?

Wow. It's been out for at least month and still not a whole lot out there about it.

The docs that accompany the gun are devoid of any particulars concerning this model. Just general S&W blather.

I'll see if I can weigh it but if I had to guess I'd say it's 60oz or so. Very nice balance.

For that price get two .44's and a .357 as a plinker...

Agreed! But when you already have a 4" .44 and a 3" .44, along with a 4" .357, this boomer is a nice step up!
