S&W revo ages?

I have a S&W Model 36 5-shot 1 7/8" .38 S&W SPL. Serial is stamped ABA32XX.

Also have a S&W Model 12-2, 6 shot 2" Airweight 38SPL. CTG. Serial on this is stamped C948XXX.

Any ideas to year or other pertinent information? Thanks y'all. New to S&W but not revos, so anything would tell me more than what I know about them.

Ok jt1 - If you're still available for follow-up.....

I see the listing under the model 12 as approximate dates of 1966-67, which from what my father told me about these two probably matches up timewise. I'll run that by him in the morning before I fly back home.

However, for the model 36, I'm not finding a serial that matches up with the prefix on the gun. It's clear as day in great shape so I know the ABA is correct. Any help on that? Let me know if I can get further information about this one that might be of assistance to you.
