S & W Stocks

These stocks were on a M27 I got last year. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the maker ? It is a 1975-76 year of manufacture. The original owner can't remember what they are and couldn't find the original stocks. Anyway, thanks for any help.

Could be any number of things.

Kinda looks like Stiles (sp?) grips CDDN used to sell for next to nothing though.

It's not a Roper, not with the thumbrest and Herrett's marks theirs on the inside. Looks like something Sile would've offered. I'd order a pair of Herrett's Ropers or Coke bottles from Keith Brown and get ready to put those in the circular file. ;)
 
Yep, I think they are Siles stocks. Ya'll put me on the right track. I've since gotten a pair of S&W Targets for the 27, but may go for a nice pair of aftermarkets. I looked in the Catalog at those stocks and had hoped they may be a pair of the Lew Sanderson's, but no, not to be. However, since they have been mentioned on THR, is it possible the value has increased? There is a pair of J frame, Siles on eBay, looks almost identical.
