SA 1911 Loaded Model problems

I must say though the stock Springfield mags are garbage and immediately got replaced with 47ds, that will address your feeding problem.

the only magazines from sa that i had a problem with were the 10rd magazines. I was using the 7rd mags for a while, before i put a magwell on my operator, then i went with other mags to extend out of the magwell enough to avoid the "pinch".

Thanks for the comments possum. I do plan on continuing to use the factory mags. I'm really not even sure if they are the problem at this point. Should have an update in about 24 hours!

never had an issue with SA mags, even the 10 rounder. that's all i use and they feed everything. can't beat it for $10/mag.

Ok, well I promised an update.

Went to the range last night. Took the gf and the 92FS for quality control.

Fired 73 rounds through the 1911. Near the middle of that count I had a fail to feed on I believe the 3rd round in the mag. And in another instance the last round of the mag failed to load and literally just sat on top of the mag lips.

Other than those two issues the gun performed flawlessly. It is still way more accurate than I am. I'm going to order some Wilson mags and see if those alleviate the problem.

PS, I love shooting this thing! Just wish I was better!

Chip Mc cormick magazines are fine magazines, and they won't set you back as much as the wilsons. I have never seen a 1911 that didn't liek chip mags.
