What do you guys think about this pistol? I am the kind of person who sees no reason in paying $800 for a pistol that I won't be able to shoot any better than with the pistol for $450. i am not a great pistol shot but I have come along way with my xd. Which is another reason i want the sa 1911 because my xd is so awesome and I am very much pleased with it so I am sure i would be with the 1911. I have shot one once at the range and like it quite a bit. I would like just a run down on them. Fit and finish, relability, accuracy, and such. also i remember back in the day that some 1911's had a hard time chambering jhp loads is this still true with the newly manufactured mil-specs? Thanks!

Sounds like a good choice. If you want better sights and other 1911 "creature comforts, take a look at the Armscor 45. Use the search I've posted some threads about mine. Springfield "loaded" features at a tad under GI prices.
