SA 1911 - Where in Southeast Michigan?

Hello all,

I've been hitting up any and every local dealer to find a place that stocks Springfield 1911's, but have yet to find a single one. I've found quite a few places that carry the XD/XDM's but this isn't what I'm looking for. :banghead: I'm wondering if any of you all out there from the Detroit / SE Michigan area know of where I should be looking. Thanks.

Thanks guys for the info, I'll be looking into all of those places this weekend and hopefully have some decent results.
 
Find a local dealer to do a transfer and then find your 1911 on Gunbroker. If you know what you want it's an easy,fast route, and sometimes less money.
 
Personally, I hate the service at Guns Galore. I much prefer to shop at Williams Gun Sight in Davison, which has a much larger selection of 1911s anyways.

I haven't been there, but Firearms Exchange in Westland (also one in Livonia) is an STI dealer, so I assume they would have a good selection of 1911s in general.
 
Guns Galore sucks. I recently saw a bunch of Springfield 1911's at The Firing Line in Westland.

The Firearms Exchange (in Westland) had a good selection of 1911's, too. The Livonia location doesn't sell guns (range + accessories, no guns).
