The magazine inserted into the pistol is a Mec-Gar 8-round stainless unit with a removable plastic baseplate. As with all Mec-Gar magazines I have, it functions flawlessly.

(The magazine next to the pistol is a Mec-Gar 7-round blued unit, by the way.)
